It is shown that the solution \(u\) of linear anisotropic elastodynamic system satisfies the condition \(E(u,t)\leq E(u,0)\text{ exp}(1-\omega t)\) \(\forall t\geq 0\), where \(E(u,t)\) is energy function and \(\omega>0\). This work extends the result obtained earlier by the same authors [C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. I, Math. 330, 563-566 (2000; Zbl 0960.74050)]. The restrictions are less strong because local coordinates are used in the expression of boundary integrals.
