Database programming with C\(\#\) is oriented to a Microsoft Windows Platform and contains all necessary tools to develop applications with Visual Studio .NET using example code in C\(\#\). Data base objects are tables, queries. The author consider the Relational Databases and Hierarchical Databases models. The example applications include SQL Server, Active Directory, and Message Queuing. The example code includes how to connect to and manipulate data in MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft Access 2000 and SQL Server. Exchange Server 2000 connection and data manipulation are also represented by examples. An appendix, ``Using XML with SQL Server 2000'', closes this extremely comprehensive material.
