\(PC\)-rings and almost excellent extensions (English)

A right \(R\)-module \(M\) is coflat (p-injective) if for any finitely generated (principal) right ideal \(I\) of \(R\), any \(R\)-homomorphism \(f\colon I\to M\) can be extended to one of \(R\to M\). A ring \(R\) is a right \(FC\)-ring (\(PC\)-ring) if \(R\) is right coherent and \(R_R\) is coflat (p-injective). The authors give characterizations of \(PC\)-rings and prove that they are invariant under almost excellent extensions.
