Characters and invariants for free Lie superalgebras (English)

The first result of the article (Theorem 1.1) determines relations between characters for free Lie superalgebras and for their universal enveloping algebras. The main result (Theorem 2.1) is a formula for characters for free Lie superalgebras. This permits the author to obtain analogues of Witt's formula for dimensions of homogeneous and multihomogeneous components of a free Lie superalgebra (Corollary 2.4). As another application, the author studies invariants of free Lie superalgebras over a field of characteristic 0 (Theorem 3.1).
