The main result of this paper is the construction of biorthogonal filters with Riesz basis properties using the lifting scheme of \textit{W. Sweldens} [Appl. Comput. Harmon. Anal. 3, No. 2, 186-200 (1996; Zbl 0874.65104)]. Relative simple biorthogonal filters constructed by B-splines and a Daubechies-counter-example as input product stable dual wavelet basis are presented.
