The meromorphy of solutions of the second Painlevé equation (English)
0 references
It is proved in detail that the local solution to the second Painlevé equation is a meromorphic function with a simple pole and that the local solution can be meromorphic continued into the whole complex plane. \textit{A. Hinkkanen} and \textit{I. Laine} had given a rigorous proof for the meromorphy of the first and second Painlevé equation [J. Anal. Math. 79, 345-377 (1999; Zbl 0986.34074)].
