This survey reports on some directions in the theory of triply periodic minimal surfaces (TPMS), where the computer gives new possibilities in the graphical presentation and in the exact numerical calculations as well. Some numerical data and statements, in some remarks, are mentioned first time here as partly joint results with Jenö Szirmai and Attila Bölcskei, which will be published later.
