    On the stress-strain state of toroidal shells of elliptic cross-section formed from nonlinear elastic orthotropic material (English)

    The authors study static problems for toroidal shells with elliptic cross-section made of nonlinear elastic orthotropic composite materials. The investigation is based on the method of successive approximations, variational difference technique, and on the method of Lagrange multipliers. The calculations are made in a wide range of variations of ellipticity and circular radius. The numerical results are presented in tables and graphs, and the accuracy of results is assessed by taking the matching of internal and external forces in a cross-section as an integral criterion.
