The author considers a static contact thermoelasticity problem for a tribosystem consisting of a base-fixed elastic layer on the surface of which a rigid die moves. Besides, the heat is generated due to friction forces obeying to the Amonton's law. A numerical algorithm is proposed to solve the governing system of integral equations. Also, the author studies under the stationary heat generation the contact between the layer and the plane, parabolic or semi-cylindrical die.
