Stress distribution in a transversally isotropic piezoceramic body with an elliptic crack in a uniform heat flow (English)

The authors construct an explicit solution of static thermoelectroelasticity problem for an infinite transversally isotropic body containing a thermoinsulated elliptic crack in the isotropy plane. At a sufficient distance from the crack the body is subjected to a uniform thermal flux which is perpendicular to the crack plane. The authors obtain expressions for stress intensity coefficients at the crack tip which depend on the thermal flux, on the crack geometry, and on thermoelectroelastic properties of the piezoceramic body.
