The author investigates the loss of stability by the plane form of circular orthotropic flexible plate of variable thickness. In addition to the loss of stability, the plate sagging is considered when the plate is subjected to both the contour loading and the nonuniform heating. To construct the approximate solutions for the corresponding equations, the algebraic polynomials are used as basis functions.
