The coupled thermomechanical behavior of a three-layer viscoplastic beam under harmonic loading (English)
0 references
From the summary: The coupled thermomechanical behavior of structurally nonhomogeneous viscoplastic bodies under cyclic loading is studied using the theory of harmonic bending and dissipative heating of the three-layer beam. To solve the problem, the generalized thermodynamically consistent flow theory (exact statement) is used as well as the scleronomic model (approximate statement of the problem). The aluminium alloy Amg-6 and steel 12H3A are used as the layers. Two possible layers setups of the beam are considered: 1)~the external layers are of aluminium and the internal one is steel; and 2)~the external layers are of steel and the internal one is of aluminium. The comparative estimation of the beam absorption factor is presented for different settings of the layers.
