The authors discuss two-dimensional equations of motion for discretely reinforced shells in the framework of Timoshenko's theory of shells and rods. An algorithm is proposed for the numerical solution of the problem. The effect of geometrically nonlinear factors on the stressed-strained state of the structure is examined.
