This paper contains three main results. Firstly, the \(L^2\)-zeta-function of a graph is continued analytically to a larger area than in a previous work of the authors [J. Algebra 237, 591--620 (2001; Zbl 1013.11057)]. Secondly, in a tower of coverings the normalized zeta-functions are shown to converge to the \(L^2\)-zeta-function, and thirdly, the usual zeta-function of a finite graph is a quotient of a classical and an \(L^2\)-determinant.
