Phase space path integral in curved space (English)
0 references
A definition of the non-relativistic phase-space path integral in a Riemannian space is worked out. It is based on a natural skeletonization of the flat-space canonical functional action proposed earlier by one of the authors [\textit{R. Ferraro}, J. Phys. A 32, 2589-2599 (1999; Zbl 0938.81014)] treating canonical coordinates and momenta on an equal footing. The Schrödinger equation following from the proposed definitions coincides with one which has been put forward by DeWitt.
