The authors consider the dynamic output feedback stabilization problem for affine nonlinear systems NEWLINE\[NEWLINE\begin{cases} \dot x=f(x)+ g(x)u\\ y=h(x) \end{cases}NEWLINE\]NEWLINE without any observability assumption. The approach is based on the notion of asymptotic stability according to the \(N\)th approximation. The method can be used to prove dynamic output feedback stabilization of systems with relative degree and can also be applied to some non-minimum phase nonlinear systems.
