Belyakov homoclinic bifurcations in a tritrophic food chain model (English)
0 references
The paper is concerned with the investigation of the complex dynamics of the so-called Rosenzweig-MacArthur model which describes a tritrophic food chain composed of a prey, a predator and a top-predator. In particular, the authors discuss the bifurcation structure of its chaotic region. In the proofs, they combine recent numerical techniques for continuing homoclinic bifurcations with the analysis of Belyakov bifurcation.
