The essential polynomial approach to convergence of matrix Padé approximants (English)
0 references
The method of essential polynomials is applied to a problem of convergence of Padé approximants for meromorphic matrix functions. The approach is based on the stability of indices of a sequence. The first case of the stability is carefully studied. A matrix analog of the Montessus theorem is obtained as a result.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0972.00034].
