Fully discrete collocation method for weakly singular integral equations (English)
0 references
One is required to solve linear systems whose coefficients are expressed as integrals while binding approximate solutions of a weakly singular integral equation. Usually these integrals cannot be computed exactly. A fully discrete collocation method is obtained when these integrals are approximated by quadrature formulas on nonuniform grid.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThe author forms an appropriate grid. The dependence of the convergence rate of the method on the choice of the grid is studied.
