Modeling of supercavitating processes (English)

The article considers the problems of modeling of supercavitating processes in connection with the shape and dimensions of supercavities, formation and maintenance of them. The necessary dimensionless parameters responsible for the process: cavitation number \(\sigma\), Froude number \(hFr\), Weber number We are established. A procedure of modeling with simultaneous keeping of the similarity for the cavitation and Froude numbers is considered. Recommendations for the scale effect reduction are given. Also, special questions of gas entrainment by supercavity from the two-phase flow with gas bubbles and hydroacoustic phenomena in supercavitation are considered.
