Rough sets and rough logic: A KDD perspective (English)
0 references
In the paper, logical aspects of rough set (in short, RS) approach to KDD are discussed. There are given exemplary applications of Boolean reasoning combined with RS methods for solving KDD problems as feature selection and extraction, data reduction, decision rule generation, pattern extraction, or decomposition of large data tables. Relationships of rough logic with various logical systems are presented.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0979.00021].
