The monograph contains results on decomposition and on some control problems for linear controllable systems described by ordinary differential equations. The author essentially applies the operator ideology in the sense of matrices. By using the Heisenberg block decomposition, the modal control method is generalized. The author also applies the second method of Lyapunov to the structural and converse problems of solution synthesis. Moreover, feedback problems are analyzed.
