The study on the nonlinear computations of the DQ and DC methods (English)
0 references
The authors present two methods for solving nonlinear problems. The first one called differential quadrature (DQ) method was first introduced by Bellman and the second one is the differential cubature (DC) method. The advantages of these two methods are first described in comparison to the finite difference methods as well as other global numerical methods. Matrix multiplication formulae are also given for obtaining the weighting coefficients of the DC method efficiently. The Hadamard product of matrices is used for obtaining the DQ and DC formulations (in the nonlinear case) more easily. Examples are analysed to demonstrate the efficiency of the presented techniques.
