The Picard group of a certain pullback domain: A noncommutative approach (Q2785943)

The mathematical goal of this note is to study the Picard group of a pullback ring that arises naturally in the theory of field extensions and also in integral representation theory. There is also a sociological goal -- to introduce some mildly non-commutative methods and indicate how they may be of use to commutative algebraists.
