The Picard group of a certain pullback domain: A noncommutative approach (English)
0 references
The mathematical goal of this note is to study the Picard group of a pullback ring that arises naturally in the theory of field extensions and also in integral representation theory. There is also a sociological goal -- to introduce some mildly non-commutative methods and indicate how they may be of use to commutative algebraists. Indeed, earlier studies of these rings using commutative algebra and algebraic geometry were more complicated and less conclusive.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0855.00015].
