This paper is a continuation of authors' previous work on the local Langlands conjecture for \(\text{GSp}(4)\) [Ann. Math. (2) 173, No. 3, 1841--1882 (2011; Zbl 1230.11063)]. In the present work they they show how the local Langlands conjecture for \(\text{Sp}(4)\) follows from that of \(\text{GSp}(4)\). They determine the possible sizes of \(L\)-packets for \(\text{Sp}(4)\) .
