The authors study the homogenisation limit for a system of PDEs describing the motion of two immiscible compressible two-phase flows (like water and gas) through a double porosity medium. The microscopic problem includes two mass conservation equations for the two flows as well as a Darcy-Muskat law relating the velocities, pressure gradients and gravitational effects. The major difficulty is twofold: the nonlinear degenerate structure of the equations and the coupling of the system.
