The interior transmission problem can be reduced to a Sturm-Liouville problem on a finite interval by using the Liouville transform. In this paper, the author proves a uniqueness theorem for the derived S-L problem when the data are the given spectra and partial knowledge of the potential on a corresponding subdomain.
