Mathematical model of flaw detection (English)
0 references
One effective procedure of failure and accident prevention is flaw detection. A mathematical model of flaw detection based on an interpretation of flaw detection as observations of a current state of the reliability base parameter -- the breakdown -- rate is proposed. Analytic relations of the model are delivered by use of Kolmogorov's equations for limiting probabilities of graphs of the system ``object-flaw detector'' states. Intensity of incidents and object recoveries, probabilities of errors of the first and the second kinds of defects recognition, and the frequency of object control tests are used as parameters of the model. For test experiments with the model, an oil and gas production enterprise is chosen.
