It is known that a subset of \(\mathbb{R}^d\) is a Meyer set if and only if it is contained in at least one model set. However, any particular Meyer set is contained in a huge collection of model sets. Thus, it is natural to ask for the existence of a minimal model set containing a given Meyer set. The author proves the existence of such a minimal model set in the case in which the Meyer set is repetitive. His proof of this result is constructive in the sense that the geometric objects involved in the construction of the minimal model set are explicitly determined.
