Nonstationary refinable functions based on generalized Bernstein polynomials (English)
0 references
This paper is concerned with the study of symmetric nonstationary compactly supported wavelet frames in \(L_{2}(\mathbb R)\). A family of nonstationary refinable functions from generalized Bernstein polynomials is introduced. The family of masks for the pseudo-splines is used. The existence of \(L_{2}\)-solutions of nonstationary refinable functions from the new extensive function is implemented. Symmetric compactly supported nonstationary tight wavelet frames in \(L_{2}(\mathbb R)\) with the spectral frame approximation order are constructed. The convergence of nonstationary cascade algorithms of the family of nonstationary refinable functions is proved.
