Inspired by \textit{M. A. Alghamdi} et al. [J. Inequal. Appl. 2013, Article ID 402, 25 p. (2013; Zbl 1527.54018)] and others, the authors obtain fixed and common fixed point theorems for contraction type mappings and cyclic contractions in \(b\)-metric-like spaces. They also obtain a few common fixed point theorems in partially ordered \(b\)-metric-like spaces. Illustrative examples are given to justify a part of the hypotheses.
