A penta-heptagonal nanotube can be considered as a trivalent graphical structure consisting of the 5-cycles \(C_5\) and 7-cycles \(C_7\), denoted by \(VAC_5C_7(S)\). The only result proved in this article determines two topological indices, namely the atom bond connectivity index (ABC-index) and the geometric-arithmetic index (GA-index) of the graphical structure \(VAC_5C_7(S)\). These topological indices are calculated in terms of the number of heptagons in the first row and first column of the two-dimensional lattice structure of the pent-heptagonal nanotube. The proof of this result is pretty straight forward based on some computations.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThere are some linguistic as well as technical errors left unnoticed in the document. Some of the keywords given are not directly related to the main content of the paper. The two topological indices, discussed in the paper, are not included in the paper as well. Similar errors happened in deciding the proper subject classification also. The author also incorrectly uses the notations \(V_2\), \(V_3\), \(E_4\), \(E_5\), \(E_6\) etc. instead of \(|V_2|\), \(|V_3|\), \(|E_4|\), \(|E_5|\), \(|E_6|\), respectively. The entries in the bibliography are also not in a uniform manner. These errors could have been rectified if the author were more careful while preparing the document.
