The low Mach number limit for a barotropic model of radiative flow (English)
0 references
This paper is concerned with a model of radiation hydrodynamics; the main goal is to provide a justification of the low Mach number limit in order to simulate fire propagation models in open vehicle tunnels. The low Mach number problem is formulated and main the result concerning global well-posedness for small perturbations of a linearly stable constant reference state is stated along with the derivation of asymptotics. The proof strongly relies on an analysis of the linearized equations.
