Approximation to a class of stochastically forced oscillators with strong coupling (English)

The dynamics of an \(n\)-dimensional system of second order oscillators with noise is studied. In the linear case, the dynamic behavior is shown to be described by a one-dimensional Wiener process with linear drifting. In the nonlinear case, asymptotic bounds on the solution in terms of the reciprocal of the coupling constant are derived. In the subcase where the noise is additive, a one-dimensional system is obtained that describes the dynamics.
