Existence of the periodic solutions of a class of periodicity problems of differential equations and related algorithms (English)

The author investigates nonautonomous ordinary differential equations with \(T\)-periodic right-hand side. Under suitable conditions an existence theorem for \(T\)-periodic solutions is shown. The proof uses homotopy path techniques which are usually applied to convex programming problems. Finally, these path techniques open a route to actually locate an initial value lying on the \(T\)-periodic orbit.
