The author proves the non-singularity of positive solutions to a two-point boundary value problem, provided the nonlinearity \(f(u)\) is predominantly negative for \(u\in(0,\gamma]\), and superlinear for \(u>\gamma\). Moreover, the obtained results are compared with the well-known cases of parabola-like, or \(S\)-shaped solution curves.
