A method to approximate invariant manifolds which are obtained under pseudo-hyperbolicity is reported in the paper. Besides the approximation of such manifolds at a possibly higher order, the authors obtain also an estimation, for non-local bifurcations, of the lower bound of their locality radius such that the approximation is valid. An approach based on the contraction mapping principle in Banach spaces is used.
