The lower bound for the volume of a three-dimensional convex polytope (English)

In this paper, the author proves the lower bound for the volume of a three-dimensional smooth integral convex polytope with an interior lattice point. This results in a nice characterization of toric Fano threefold. In addition, the author computes the sectional genus of a three-dimensional polarized toric variety, and classifies toric Castelnuovo varieties.
