The Lebesgue's averaging method verification (English)
0 references
Lebesgue's method for a resonant radiation spectrum is a routine method for the analysis of the radiation transfer described by the transfer equation. Here, two versions of Lebesgue's averaging are used to evaluate their accuracy when applied to the heat transfer problem in the Earth atmosphere. The comparison of the obtained results with those found by direct spectral calculations shows the high accuracy achieved by one of the versions.
