Monotonization of high accuracy bicompact scheme for stationary multidimensional transport equation (English)
0 references
The equation of gas or radiation transfer -- the transport equation -- is one of the simplest equation of mathematical physics and it is often used for testing different calculating schemes or algorithms in numerical analysis. Here, a version of the hybrid scheme to solve the stationary non-homogeneous transport equation is considered. The fourth-order approximation scheme in relation to all spatial variables of the bicompact scheme family and the first-order approximation scheme of the family methods of short characteristics are chosen as base schemes. Advantages of the version proposed are discussed.
