The booklet under review consists of the written versions of the six lectures given in Turin on November 14 and 15, 2013 on the occasion of the two hundredth anniversary of Joseph-Louis Lagrange's death. The six summaries are written in Italian and in English. Paolo Bagnoli spoke on ``Lagrange: The perfect demiurge'' considering Lagrange within the general framework of the demiurgic concept that characterizes the thinking of Filippo Burzio. Giuseppe Ricuperati compared the cultural and biographical paths of Lagrange and Carlo Denina. Luigi Pepe discussed the relationship between mathematics and applications in Lagrange. Maria Alberto Chiorino gave a survey of the contributions of the Turin school to the development of structural mechanics from Lagrange to the present time. Enrico Predazzi summarized some of Lagrange's contributions to physics. Susanna Terracini considered symmetries and orbits in the \(n\)-body problem, beginning with Lagrangian points and ending with \(G\)-equivariant Morse theory.
