The topic of the paper is that of the interpolation of fuzzy data. The authors propose a fuzzy piecewise cubic interpolation based on B-spline basis functions. The unicity of fuzzy B-spline interpolation is provided by some additional conditions. The error of the interpolation is also studied and some examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
