This paper presents a local convergence analysis for high-order Jarratt-type methods for approximating a solution of a nonlinear equation in a Banach space. The analysis requires only certain conditions on the first Fréchet derivative. The paper concludes with one numerical example in \(\mathbb{R}^3\).
