In this paper, the authors introduce the notion of pure ideals in a hyperlattice and provide both algebraic and topological characterizations of the notion. In addition, they study the notion of normal hyperlattices. They present characterizations of normal hyperlattices as hyperlattices in which each prime ideal is contained in a unique maximal ideal, as well as hyperlattices for which the maximal spectrum is a retract of the prime spectrum. Finally, they include illustrative examples of pure ideals and normal hyperlattices.
