``To overcome the limitations of classical equilibrium thermodynamics, endoreversible thermodynamics was developed.'' (page 2). This paper presents a new concept, how chemical reactions can be included in endoreversible thermodynamics, where a new type of subsystems, the so-called reactor, is introduced. The authors start with a short overview of the required concepts and describe the details concerning the two classes of subsystems: reservoirs and engines. After that they give an insight into the difference between reversible and irreversible interactions between subsystems. In classical formulation of endoreversible thermodynamics, only one type of the interactions is considered, thus, they take a look at multi-extensity fluxes. Next, they go over to the discussion of reversible and irreversible reaction processes, where they define new endoreversible subsystems, namely a reversible and a totally irreversible reactor, which are also depicted in the corresponding scheme.
