Some results on injectivity and multistationarity in chemical reaction networks (English)
0 references
The authors obtain and discuss necessary and sufficient conditions for injectivity and possibility of multiple equlibria of vector fields associated with chemical reaction networks. Results are reviewed and applied to models of chemical networks of different kind (reversible or not, with different reaction rates, open or closed, etc). A few examples illustrate the article. Reactions are described by stoichiometric matrices and kinetic vector function that show reaction rates depending on concentrations of the species.
