On isolation of singularities in numerical solution of integral equations of the potential theory (English)

Methods for isolation of singularities in the kernel and density of the potential of weakly singular Fredholm integral equations for simple-layer potential are proposed in the case when boundary surface has edges, ribs and corner points. The projection methods of solution of these equations are used as well as finite element approximation of the unknown potential density.
