On the effect of variable heat exchange coefficients on thermal stresses in a finite cylindrical shell (English)
0 references
The authors study the thermoelastic state of a finite cylindrical shell with sliding clamping conditions on the shell edges due to the difference between ambient temperatures on the outer surfaces and the coordinate-dependent heat exchange coefficients on these surfaces. A method of reduction of the heat conduction boundary-value problem to a coupled system of second kind integral Fredholm equations is proposed. The distribution of mean temperature and temperature moment as well as bending, elongation, force and bending moments caused by them are numerically analyzed and the results of analysis are presented.
