The authors propose to apply the Rayleigh-Ritz method for the analysis of natural vibrations of parabolic shells. To this end, expressions for the kinetic and potential energy of parabolic shells of fixed thickness are derived. Properties of eigen frequencies and eigen modes of natural vibrations of shells of different heights are investigated.
