A note on Ramanujan's factorial approximation (English)

Ramanujan stated an approximation to the gamma and to the factorial function using a certain parameter \(\theta_x\) that tends to one in that approximation. This paper provides improved upper and lower bounds on \(\theta_x\) in the formula.
